The assignment was to create an icon for the Eye-Fi software that communicated the wow factor of the Eye-Fi SD card. Since the most defining aspect of using an Eye-Fi SD card on your digital camera is no longer having to mess with cables to transfer photos from a camera to a PC, I blended the wireless characteristic of the card with the distinctive orange from the Eye-Fi corporate identity to create an eye-catching icon.
